The majority of our door hangers are approximately 18"-20" at it's largest size. For example, the jar is 20" tall.  The circles are available in multiple sizes.  Our most popular circle is 18". All flat door hangers are 1/4" thick. 3D hangers are 1/8" thick.

Over the years, we've offered several types of wood.  After much debate and listening to our customers, we decided to go with premium grade MDF. It offers the best surface for painting - very smooth - no knots which are known to bleed through (especially with white paint), and usually requires less coats of paint to cover.  The edges are also smooth and don't chip after cutting. It offers a great weight compared to other wood we considered. It's not too heavy that it bangs against your door, but it's heavy enough that it doesn't blow around when the wind picks up. 

MDF comes in a variety of colors and quality. Yes - there are some that look like cheap cardboard.  We definitely do not use that. We've worked hard to find the best quality MDF to offer our clients. 

Once you try our MDF, you won't want to paint on anything else!

To sum it up, we use 1/8" and 1/4" premium grade MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard). 

Shipping wood is expensive - plain and simple.  Wood is heavy. We definitely do not make money on shipping. We do not charge for the boxes or packing material we use. We only charge a portion of what we actually pay for shipping. Shipping is based on the weight of your order.  We do not "frankenbox" our orders. We use real boxes and pack your order with care to protect your shipment. We keep our prices low on the individual pieces so we're confident that you can still make a healthy profit even after paying our shipping fees.

We have a unique situation. We have 2 different cutting locations. Our first location is in Boonville, Indiana. Our second location is in Lawley, Alabama. Neither location is open to the public. But we're happy to offer public local pickup.
